Service Overview: Prexmo is a subscription-based digital business card platform that offers both free and premium features. This policy covers subscription cancellations, refunds, data handling, and account termination in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
1. Cancellation Rights and Procedures
EU Customers (GDPR Compliance): If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of purchase without providing any reason, in accordance with Article 9 of Directive 2011/83/EU.
General Cancellation Rights: You may cancel your premium subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@prexmo.com or through our customer portal.
Effective Cancellation: When you cancel your subscription:
- Service Continuation: You will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within the billing period.
- Account Status: Your account will automatically revert to free tier status after the premium period expires, maintaining access to basic features.
- Digital Business Cards: Your digital business cards will remain accessible and shareable, but premium features (advanced analytics, custom designs, etc.) will be disabled.
- Data Retention: Your personal data and digital business cards will be retained according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, unless you request account deletion.
- Reactivation: You may reactivate your premium subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
2. Refund Policy and Conditions
Important: All subscription payments are generally non-refundable. By subscribing to our service, you acknowledge and agree to this policy. Refunds are only considered in the limited circumstances outlined below.
General Refund Policy: Due to the digital nature of our services and immediate access provided upon subscription, all payments are considered final and non-refundable, except as specifically outlined in this policy.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered only in the following limited circumstances:
- EU Withdrawal Right: EU customers may request a refund within 14 days of initial subscription purchase, provided they have not substantially used the service. Substantial use includes creating more than 2 digital business cards or accessing premium features for more than 7 days.
- Technical Failures: If you experience significant technical problems that prevent service access and we cannot resolve them within 72 hours of your support request, a prorated refund may be considered.
- Billing Errors: If you are charged incorrectly due to our error (duplicate charges, wrong amount, unauthorized charges), we will provide a full refund of the incorrect charges within 30 days.
- Service Discontinuation: If we permanently discontinue the service, we will provide prorated refunds for unused subscription time remaining beyond 30 days.
- Legal Compliance: Refunds required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction will be honored.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will NOT be provided in the following situations:
- Change of mind after subscription activation

Refund Process

Processing Time: Refund requests are reviewed within 10 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary by payment provider.
3. Account Termination and Data Handling
Account Termination Rights: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team at support@prexmo.com or using the account deletion feature in your account settings. Termination requests must be submitted in writing.
Data Protection and Privacy
Upon account termination, we will handle your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations:
- Data Deletion: Your personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of account termination, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).
- Digital Business Cards: All digital business cards associated with your account will be permanently deleted and all sharing links will be deactivated within 7 days of termination.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained for business analytics and service improvement purposes.
- Legal Retention: Certain data may be retained longer if required by applicable laws, court orders, or for legitimate business interests such as fraud prevention.
- Backup Systems: Data may remain in backup systems for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.
Termination Consequences
- Service Access: All access to your account and services will be immediately suspended upon termination confirmation.
- No Refund: Account termination does not entitle you to any refund for unused subscription time or services.
- Reactivation Window: You may request account reactivation within 30 days of termination by contacting support. After 30 days, account reactivation may not be possible.
- Data Recovery: Once data is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered. Please ensure you have backed up any important information before requesting termination.
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
Plan Details: Our subscription plans are offered on monthly or annual billing cycles. Specific pricing, features, and terms are clearly outlined on our website and in your account dashboard.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You are responsible for cancelling before renewal to avoid charges.
